Moi Je - from Le Petit Prince Spectacle Musical

If you couldn’t tell from the title, this is the song Le Vaniteux sings!  It is one of the best songs in the musical.

So, this is what I did yesterday.
It’s a drawing from the book Le Petit Prince, which I read last year and fell in love with. I’m sure most of my followers haven’t read it, but basically, as a child, this pilot drew this picture, which is a snake who has eaten an elephant. But everyone thought it was a hat, and although he loved art, his father discouraged it, telling him to forget about art and to focus on things that mattered, like science and business. So he did, but he still kept the drawing with him, hoping he’d find someone who could tell what it really was.
As someone who doesn’t really enjoy anything that doesn’t relate to art, this chapter of the book means a lot to me. I’ve been talking about getting a tattoo since I was a freshman, so I took a leap of faith and I’m glad that I did!
